In 2015 she received the best actress Award at the D Cine Award and also was nominated for the best debut actress at NEFTA film award. In Hawaldar Suntali, she performs action stunts as police constable Suntali. After that, she started to play in some successful movie like Hawaldar Suntali, Kismat-2, Hifajat 2 and much more. She debut in Nepali film industry from the movie Lajja which was produced by Chhabi Ojha which can be taken her first movie.In 2072, Shilpa Pokhrel played in only one movie named Fagu.Īlthough this movie does not get success, Shilpa’s acting was highly appreciated.
Till now Shilpa has appeared in more than 100 music videos and show worked with many famous music directors like Munal Shishir, Arjun Adhikari, Subash Regmi, Shiva BKand much more.
